HIJAB

The hijab has become a very controversial issue. As more and more people get involved with it, the lay person often becomes confused and frustrated in trying to figure out what Islam really requires in this regard. This work follows a scholarly approach and presents conclusions from the Qur'an, the hadith literature, and history in order to clarify the wisdom behind wearing the hijab. This work is highly recommended for all those who are looking for stright and clear answers.

Author: Dr. Mohammed Ismail Memon Madani was born in India, migrated to Pakistan and became a medical doctor. He also learned Arabic at Darul-Uloom Karachi, and then served as Medical Officer in Saudi Arabia. In 1986, he migrated to Canada. Presently he is in Buffalo, New York, where he established Darul-Uloom Madania. He has given up the medical practice and spends all his time for Da'wah work.
